Students

"There is no end to the writing of books..."

In the name of the Lord Jesus, all of us here at Westborough Church want to welcome you as a student to Guildford. Thousands of young people come to live in Guildford each year to study, many living right on the doorstep of Westborough Church. Congratulations for getting here - we pray you will have a really great time in Guildford!

We want to help you settle in:

- By offering an invitation to lunch. We will be holding occasional church lunches after our Sunday morning worship to which all are invited - come and make new friends!  The next lunch is on 30 September.  Please let us know via the Contact page (or send us an email) if you would like to come to the lunch.

- AND at Westborough Church we very much believe in enabling and allowing each other's gifts and ministries. If you are a musician and would like to join one of our worship teams, you will find a place to exercise your ministry among us.  There are also many other opportunities to contribute to the life of the church and help with our outreach activities for young and old in the local community. We would love to share with you our stories of how God is at work in our lives, and to hear from you how He is at work in yours. Whatever your gift, you will find a place in our worship and witness. We hope that ours is an open, accessible, inclusive style of fellowship.

We welcome you to Guildford, and we pray God's blessing on you as you continue your studies. Work hard, but remember what the Bible says:

"There is no end to the writing of books, and too much study will wear you out!" Ecclesiastes 12:12

If you would like to know more about what is on offer for students at Westborough Church, please get in touch via the Contact page (or send us an email).
