Heather Lawrence

Heather and her husband Rob were members of Westborough in the 1980s who were called to work as missionaries with Worldwide Evangelisation for Christ (WEC International) in Mexico. Westborough supported them and their two daughters prayerfully and financially during that time. Following Rob's sudden death in 2001 we continue to support Heather as she works for WEC in the UK.  Heather has led a number of mission trips to Mexico in recent years and supports workers in various stages of their journey with WEC – from interviewing new workers, debriefing returning workers to supporting folk finishing their service with WEC.

Heather is also involved in various activities with her local Church, including helping to lead Freedom in Christ courses, which help apply the truth of the Bible to daily life. She is active in Prayer ministry. She helps with English classes for refugees, asylum seekers & others, particularly enjoying befriending the students. Heather continues to spend time with her neighbours.
